My First Plant

So after meeting with a sweet friend this morning at Starbucks I went to Trader Joe’s and bought some “groceries.” As I looked in my cart there wasn’t anything in there that we needed, but lots of fun finds. Two of my fun finds were plants for our house. I have this big glass/rod-iron structure that I’ve been trying to decorate for a long time. Susan helped give some life to it one day when she (in less than a minute) grabbed some books from my bookshelf and worked her magic. I was so impressed because in a matter of seconds it improved ten fold. So, in my motivation to keep improving it i bought a plant. I randomly picked it a TJ’s, not knowing anything about it except it was cute and cheap. It’s called a jade plant. Here it is: (these are pictures from the internet, i can’t find my camera)

I just hope I can keep it alive. Supposedly this is what it will look like after 27 years… haha

I’ll post a picture once the structure-thing (I dont’ know what to call it) looks decent

That was my fun for the day. Now to laundry.
